Hi

Its Fall and panic time, the "get ready for winter" mode. Family have safely returned to England and kids are back at university, now is time to sell cattle ,take the last cut of forage, cut and split firewood, finish work on the house , harvest fruit trees and garden, get the river bank restoration work done, and there is something else, but I can't quite remember it at the moment. AND you were wondering why I hadn't posted lately !! It is actually slowing up, or so the wife tells me so I will be writing more often in the near future as I have missed doing so this last few weeks. I hope to show more pictures of the ranch and life here and spend more time talking Land and Livestock, but for now my coffee just brewed, so more next time.

Neat Sheep

We took a visit to the Interior Provincial Exhibition in Armstrong this week and as it was the first day we thought it would be quiet,Ha Ha! It was crowded but fun, all the usual things associated with a country fair and a few strange sites to boot. The photos show a Jacob sheep ram which often have four horns but he was the first I had seen with such a balanced symmetrical set, quite the rack. It looks as though he is equipped with his own hard hat.The old guy in the blue cap is my Dad and it looks as though he is getting a few tips on headgear from his four legged friend.
